The inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL), commences from Saturday, with a mega clash between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants. Ahead of the opening contest, Harmanpreet stated that when she made her international debut in 2009, senior players like Anjum Chopra and Jhulan Goswami made her comfortable in the new environment.

What Harmanpreet said?

"As a young kid, it is very difficult to talk to a senior. So my approach is always to go to them and talk to the youngsters. When I entered the team, Jhulu di (Jhulan Goswami) and Anjum di (Anjum Chopra) made me feel very comfortable and I'm trying to follow the same thing here," Harmanpreet said at the pre-game presser.
