Tamim Iqbal Rues Poor Cricket In 2nd ODI, Vows To Bounce Back In The Dead Rubber

On Friday, England annihilated hosts Bangladesh by a whopping 132-run margin to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.
Riding on Jason Roy's scintillating ton, England posted a mammoth 326 on the board and later defended it easily, courtesy of magnificent four-fers from Adil Rashid and Sam Curran.
After his side's disastrous performance in the game, Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal held the lack of team effort responsible for this horrendous defeat.
The stylish southpaw reckoned that the Tigers couldn't capitalise on the spin-friendly conditions earlier on the day.
"I was a bit disappointed with the way we started with the ball. I thought there was a little bit of help for spinners for sure. We had an opportunity to bring them down but they batted well. Roy batted well exceptionally well and Buttler also batted well. As I said, when you lose a game like this, you can poke fingers at many people but I think we didn't do well as a team and that's why we lost."
Although he praised Shakib Al Hasan for his whirlwind knock, the 33-year-old also demanded improvement from the rest of the batting unit, hoping to finish the series on a high note by winning the dead rubber on Monday.
"When you lose three wickets in the opening stages, it becomes a little bit difficult. While chasing 327, somebody had to take the chance. Even when we were three down, the intent that Shakib showed was brilliant. We would like to finish the series on a high in the final game. It is disappointing that we lost the series but credit goes to England as well."

Bangladesh have had a disastrous run against England, as they lost an ODI series at home after eight years.
So, they must regroup and come up with a better performance to conclude the series on a winning note.
