The current Test series between India and Australia is turning out to be difficult as spin from both sides is overpowering the batters. The main reason is the nature of the pitches which have been spin-friendly in both the games that happened in Nagpur and Delhi, respectively.

The Australian side were cleaned up by the class of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja whereas the duo of Nathan Lyon and Todd Murphy posed problems for the home side as well.

However, in the first game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma's scintillating century helped his side to take the lead in the series as he batted through tough conditions. The right-hander claimed that even after batting for so long and facing truckloads of deliveries, he never felt set.

Moreover, he added that India could also lose their wickets quickly just like their counterparts as these tracks are not always going to behave truly.

"Yeah... that's the beauty of this game and the beauty of all the pitches we are playing on. To be honest, it can happen to us as well, not just them. I was talking to Rahul bhai the other day and I said, in Nagpur I played close to 200 balls and I never felt like I was set.

"Because when you play on pitches like that, it just takes one ball to probably grip a little more than you expect or keep a little low and you are out. On pitches like this, you are never in and it is the same for us. What has happened to them can happen to us."

Rohit will hope to put on another show for his side when they face the Kangaroos in the third Test beginning on 1st March in Indore.
