Just a few days left for the maiden edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) to get initiated and its time to get used to the marquee players who could be a distinguishing factor for their respective team. Each year, in franchise cricket, there are a few names who brings the 'Wow factor' in the game. Be it Suryakumar Yadav in the IPL or Harry Brook in the Hundred, Hayley Matthews in Women's CPL or Amanda Jade-Wellington in the Women's Big Bash. Such is the aura of these cash-rich T20 Leagues.

An Australian all-rounder who is renowned for hitting big sixes, Tahlia McGrath is certainly a player to watch out in the WPL 2023. She is a middle-order batter who can is known to use the long levers well. In addition, McGrath is also known to swing the ball both ways provided the proper conditions.

What does Tahlia McGrath add to the UP Warriorz Women?

The South Australian-based cricketer made her national team debut in 2017. She missed out on making into the World Cup squad but what followed was a resurgence of her skillset. She came into the limelight post covid and took the world by a storm. She gathered 615 runs from 18 innings in her T20I career with a stirring average of 61.50.

McGrath can be used as a floater in the middle order but the best of her came in the one-down position. The numbers display an impressive average of 66.25 in eight innings.

McGrath's runs per innings in 2nd down: 39.60 (once not out)
McGrath's runs per innings in 3rd, 4th and 5th (overall) down:
