With the ICC World Cup 2023 not far away, teams are prepping hard to ensure they get used to the conditions before hand. Now, the current T20 and ODI World Cup Champions' England led-by skipper Jos Buttler would be looking at another potential championship under their bag.

But before the mega-event, their road consists of the upcoming series against Bangladesh where they would be playing three ODIs and as many short format games.

With just three days left for the tour to get underway, Buttler has called the conditions to be similar to India which would be ideal for them to prepare for the World Cup.

Moreover, he expects low and slow wickets as they would provide them proper training and test their skill set in tough Asian conditions.

“This is the conditions that would probably be the closest we can get to play in India. That’s the kind of challenge we want as a team to test ourselves in tough conditions,"

Jos reminded that the Bangladesh side have a very good record but they would be playing their best cricket as some of their players have had taste of these conditions before.

“Bangladesh have a good record at home. We have some very good players in our team. We are excited for the challenge. We have a lot of guys in the last few years exposed to playing in sub-continent conditions."

The first ODI will be played at Dhaka on 1st March whereas the last T20I will be happening on 14th March at the same venue.
