The big day has finally arrived. Australia women are set to face hosts South Africa women in a mouth-watering grand finale of the Women's T20 World Cup on Sunday.

Both the teams had a different road to the finale, with Australia dominating their opponents, while South Africa scrapping through the group stage, despite losing two matches.

Another win will give the mighty Aussies their sixth World T20 title, and skipper Meg Lanning reckons that whosoever holds the nerves in crucial moments will be crowned the champion.

"I think it'd be pretty even in terms of how much each team wants to win, there's no doubt about that. I personally think it comes down to holding your nerve under pressure and executing your skills as best you can when the pressure's on. That's where it's going to be decided," Lanning said.

Both the teams showed their class in the semi-finals. This is South Africa's maiden final, at any World Cup - men's or women's. They brought their toughness against England in the semis and won the match by 6 runs. On the other hand, Australia were pushed on the back-foot by a spirited Indian side, but that was not enough as Lanning and co. kept their calm to win the match by 5 runs.

"The two semi-finals were incredible games. Some high heart rates out there, on the field and off the field, and it would have been some incredible viewing for the fans out there. Hopefully, it's the same again tomorrow. We're expecting a very close game," Lanning added.

The two teams met in the group stage of the ongoing T20 World Cup, where the defending champions, Australia won the game comfortably by 6 wickets.
