Australia delivered a flawless performance in the 11th match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2023, thrashing Sri Lanka by 10 wickets.

Schutt, Harris revel at St George's Park

After opting to bowl first, Australia made a mockery of Sri Lanka's batting line-up, razing it to a point that made it tough for Chamari Athapaththu and Co. to come out from.

A 39-run stand between Harshitha Madavi and Vishmi Gunaratne that was the highest for any wicket for Sri Lanka in the game bellows about the side's telling woes on the batting front.

While Grace Harris kept Sri Lanka's primary batters at bay, Megan Schutt inflicted most of the damage on the tailenders as their opponent could make just 112 runs in 20 overs.

Lankan bowlers pose no challenge

Australia openers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney wasted no time to get their feet under the table as the duo stitched an unbeaten 113-run partnership to get their team over the finish line.

While Mooney did not take much risk throughout her innings, Healy fancied herself as an aggressor as they blended their styles perfectly in a thoroughly professional run-chase.

Both the batters recorded their fifties as the Aussies romped home in the 16th over without the loss of any wicket.
