Arguably one of the best all-rounders at the moment, India's Deepti Sharma was sold to UP Warriorz for INR 2.60 crore at the Women's Premier League auction.

The bidding war started between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants, and as the bid increased, Mumbai Indians and UP Warriorz entered the bidding war.

Deepti Sharma has had a stellar rise at the international level. A true definition of a 3-D player, she is a gun fielder, and can contribute with both bat and ball.

Quality all-rounders are not easy to find, but the Warriorz have found a gem in the Indian player. For a brief moment, it looked as if the bidding will cross the INR 3 crore mark, but the Warriorz pulled off a spectacular heist.

So far, the 25-year-old has played 88 T20I matches for India, and has scored 914 runs, at a strike-rate of 106.52. When it comes to the bowling, the off-break bowler has scalped 97 wickets, at an average of 19.50.

The auction is going at the moment, and Mumbai Indians have just bought England's Nat Sciver.
