India are coming into the tournament on the back of a defeat in the finals of the Tri-series against South Africa. They will be reeling to start the campaign on a winning note, especially against their arch rivals. The spin department of the team looks very strong and with the South African pitches getting slower and tiring out, the Indian team is in with a real chance to win the trophy.

On the other hand, Pakistan is one of the underdogs in the tournament. They will look to punch above their weight throughout the tournament and make this the best World Cup in their history by going beyond the group stage.

Before the match starts let us look at some of the important stats, the prime player picks and the best-predicted XIs for the fantasy contests of the match.

The pitch at the Newlands Stadium has acted somewhat in favour of the batters in the last three T20s that have been played here. But in the lone match of the tournament that has been player till now, the batters struggled to score runs freely. The spinners were really dominant in the game and keeping in mind how the pitch behaved in the match, the skipper winning the toss might look to bat first.

IN-W vs PA-W, Match 4: Top Five Picks

  1. Harmanpreet Kaur (IN-W): In absence of Harmanpreet Kaur will be the most important batter for team India. She looked in good touch in the Tri-series preceding the tournament. Harmanpreet will have to lead from the front and put on good scored on her part to take the team's total to something of substance.
  2. Bismah Maroof (PA-W): Much like her counter part, Bismah Maroof is the most important batter of her team. The Pakistan team will heavily depend on her to give them the stability to put up respectable totals on the board.
  3. Deepti Sharma (IN-W): One player in the Indian line-up, who can change the complexion of a match with both the bat and the ball is Deepti Sharma. Not only her ability to contribute in the lower middle-order, but also her off-spinner will be equally important for her team.
  4. Nida Dar (PA-W): The Pakistan team will be hoping that Nida Dar brings forward best all-round performances on the table in this tournament and especially this match. She is going to be a key player for Pakistan and also in the fantasy contests for the match.
  5. Radha Yadav (IN-W): India can bank on Radha Yadav as a bowler who will consistently bowl a perfect line and length giving nothing away to the batters. If the pitch offers a bit of turn, Radha might prove to be even more dangerous.
