PRE vs EAC, Final: Top Five Picks

  1. Aiden Markram (EAC): The Sunrisers Easter Cape skipper has led the team from the fron in the true sense of the term. Markram has scored consistent runs in the tournament and has picked up crucial wickets for the team. His all-round form makes him a must pick for the match.
  2. Kusal Mendis (PRE): The Sri Lankan keeper has given solid starts to the Capitals since he has been a part of the tournament. Mendis has the ability to play a match defining knock at the top of the order and this makes him an important pick in this match.
  3. Roelof van der Merwe ( EAC): The left-arm spinner has probably been the biggest match winner for the Eastern Cape in this tournament. He has at least picked up a couple of wickets in all the matches that he has played and have not even conceded too many runs. There is no way Van der Merwe can be missed.
  4. Anrich Nortje (PRE): If it has been Van der Merwe, who has been the match winner with the ball for Eastern Cape, Anrich Nortje has done the same job with the ball for the Capitals. He has been picking up wickets with the new ball and also in the death overs, Norje is a prime pick for this match.
  5. Phil Salt (PRE): The English batter started the tournament on a great note. But as the tournament has progressed Salt has lost a bit of the touch. However, the team will hope that he gains his form in the most important match and gets his team off to a good start.
