Nothing has gone right for Australia on their India tour as of now. After being decimated for a paltry 177 in their first innings, the visitors suffered a massive injury blow ahead of the second day of the Nagpur Test.

During the day 2 warmups, Australian batter Matt Renshaw sustained a knee injury, following which he was immediately rushed to the hospital for x-ray scans.

As of writing, the nature and gravity of Renshaw's injury is unclear. However, the injury meant he didn't take the field during the first session of the second day of the game.

Renshaw, who made an international comeback after ages during the recent home series against South Africa, got the nod ahead of South Australian Travis Head to bat in the middle order in the Nagpur Test.

However, he couldn't justify his selection, as he was trapped plumb in front of the stumps by Ravindra Jadeja, making his way back to the dugout for a golden duck.

Regarding the match, despite losing two quick wickets, India are in a commanding position at the moment. At lunch on day 2, the hosts are firmly placed at 151 for three, with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma batting on 12* and 85*, respectively.
