Pretoria Capitals will face the MI Cape Town Challenge in the 26th match of the SA20 league to be played at Supersport park, Centurion as the latter aim to move up the ladder.

A lot at stake for the Cape Town-based side as they aim to reduce their points difference with the table toppers, Capitals. Playing eight matches and winning three out of them, MI are positioned fifth as of now, whereas their rivals have triumphed in five games out of the seven they have featured in.

Pretoria encountered against the Rashid Khan-led side only where they decimated them after posting 182 on the board. Conversely, Cape Town failed to defend 166 in a tight battle versus the Durban's Super Giants which was their fourth loss from the last five games.

Match Details

Date and Time: February 4, 9:00 PM IST
Venue: SuperSport Park, Centurion
Live Telecast & Streaming: Sports18 and JioCinema

Pitch Report: As has been the case here, 170 could be on the cards with the side winning the toss looking to bat first. SuperSport holds one of the best batting wickets, making it difficult to defend a total. Further, rain could play a spoilsport as there is around 45% chance with temperature staying around 20 degree celsius.

Probable Playing XI

Pretoria Capitals: Kusal Mendis (wk), Colin Ingram, Rilee Rossouw, Theunis de Bruyn, Clyde Fortuin, James Neesham, Senuran Muthusamy, Wayne Parnell (c), Eathan Bosch, Adil Rashid and Anrich Nortje

MI Cape Town: Dewald Brevis, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Rassie van der Dussen, Tim David, Delano Potgieter, George Linde, Duan Jansen, Rashid Khan (c), Odean Smith, Beuran Hendricks and Kagiso Rabada

Prediction

MI Cape Town came into the tournaments as favourites. However, this tournament hasn't gone the way they would have hoped for. While for Pretoria, they are enjoying the pole position and are expected to continue dominating in that way. Hence, they should emerge victorious.
