Few days ago, it was reported that former Pakistani head coach Mickey Arthur is returning to the side in the capacity of the team director. However, this is not the big news that is hitting the headlines, the actual part is that he will work with the side on an online basis due to his commitments with county cricket side Derbyshire.

His appointment has caused chaos everywhere in the cricketing circle as many experts have called out the PCB chairman Najam Sethi for this absurd decision. One of Pakistan's legendary skipper and coach Misbah-ul-haq has lashed out at the board for their inefficiency to hire someone on a full-time basis.

He mentioned that it is a slap on the system which has been on the decline for a while as there is much negativity in the circle.

"It's a slap on our cricket system that we are not able to find a high-profile full-time coach. It's a shame that the best ones do not want to come and we insist on having someone who is looking at Pakistan as a second option,"

Moreover, he blamed the former players for creating a bad image of the board and country which has caused the outside people to think twice about them.

"I blame our own system, which is vulnerable enough with so many weak lines for anyone to exploit it. We are to be blamed ourselves that we have disrespected and discredited our own people to make a bad image."

Pakistan's players will be involved in the upcoming season of the PSL beginning on 13th February.
