The run-fest at Sylhet saw over 420 runs being scored in the game with Comilla Victorians bagging another win over Khulna Tigers by 7 wickets.

Tamin, Hope magnificent with their 90s

Put into bat, Tigers lost one early as Mahmudul Hasan Joy surrendered to Naseem Shah in the third over for just one run. However, this did not impact them as the dynamic duo of Tamim Iqbal and Shai Hope batted beautifully till the final over to bring their team close to a massive total.

While Tamim banged 95 off 61 deliveries smashing four sixes and eleven fours losing his wicket to Mosaddek Hossain, skipper Hope thumped a 55-ball 91 with as many as seven big hits remaining not out till the end. Azam Khan provided the finishing blow with 12 runs from four balls.

Their powerful effort with bat took them to 210 as bowlers were tonked all over the park.

Charles goes berserk with his ton

In pursuit of 211 for success, Victorians were dealt with a major blow as Litton Das walked off the field due to an injury in the very first over. Nonetheless, this didn't had any impact on them as Mohammad Rizwan got better off their opponents by scoring an incredible 79 from just 39 balls which gave them a solid head start.

Captain Imrul Kayes couldn't do much but it was the Johnson Charles show who brought up his hundred to his side in catching up with the chase. His glorious performance came under immense pressure as he struck five fours and whopping eleven sixes.

In the end, they attained the total with ten balls remaining as apart from Nasum Ahmed, no one bowled decently enough conceding runs at an economy of over 9.
