The second T20I between India and New Zealand in Lucknow witnessed the spinners strangle the batters on a pitch conducive to spin bowling.

While New Zealand succumbed to their lowest-T20I score against India, the hosts took 19.5 overs to accomplish a chase of mere 100 runs.

However, New Zealand all-rounder Michael Bracewell talked about not pinning the blame on the pitch, which according to many former players and experts, was not up to the mark for an international T20I.

He also added that the variety of tracks on offer is a positive sign for world cricket.

Here's what Bracewell said

"It's probably not a wicket that you want to play on every single time you play a Twenty 20, but once every now and then is an exciting opportunity to learn and try and grow your skills. We can't complain. It's exciting to try and figure out a way to play on these different wickets,

"If you play on a wicket like that all the time, or a wicket that's flat all the time, you don't get a true test of your skills. I think a variety of wickets around the world is a positive thing."

With the series levelled at 1-1, the final encounter will take place on February 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
