On Sunday, India handed New Zealand a six-wicket defeat to in the second T20I in Lucknow to restore parity in the three-match series. However, only 199 runs were scored in 39.5 overs across both innings, which surprised the cricket fraternity.

This was the second consecutive time a spin-friendly surface was dished in the series. However, the track in Lucknow offered excessive turn, making run-scoring an extremely difficult affair.

So, after witnessing a four-hour-long boring game, the jam-packed Lucknow crowd went home with disappointment written all over their face.

However, former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer thinks the case will be different for the fans in Ahmedabad.

After the second game concluded, Jaffer reckoned that the decider would be much more entertaining for the spectators, considering Ahmedabad track's history of producing high-scoring thrillers.

Here's what Jaffer said

"I feel Ahmedabad will have better batting conditions. I feel it will be a good game. I’ll be surprised if there is so much spin because generally we get to see a lot of good games in Ahmedabad. Probably a score around 160-170 is what I am expecting and the pitch to play a lot better compared to the last two games,

"It will be a big crowd in Ahmedabad and hopefully they will get to see a very good game. Hopefully, India wins the series there."

The third T20I between the two teams will be played on Wednesday, February 1.
