India red hot favourites to win World Cup 2023: Michael Vaughan

With the ICC World Cup 2023 taking place this year, teams have already started their homework for the marquee event. The global tournament is poised to be hosted in India between October and November, where according to former England captain Michael Vaughan, hosts India are red-hot favourites.
Led by Rohit Sharma, Team India won its second One-Day International (ODI) series in a row this year, taking down New Zealand last evening. Earlier they beat Sri Lanka 3-0 as well.
On Twitter, Vaughan stated that India looks more committed to the format.

With their recent series win on Tuesday, India now reigns supreme in ICC ODI Rankings as the No.1 team, while the Black Caps move down to the fourth spot.
India are scheduled to play ODIs against West Indies (a) and Australia (h), apart from Asia Cup 2023, before the World Cup begins.
