Zakir Hasan included as BCB releases national players' contract list

In a significant development, Bangladesh Cricket Board has released the list of 21 contracted players for 2022. 

Litton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Taskin Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz have been contracted for all three formats. Veteran batters Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim, who have retired from T20Is, are contracted for the other two formats. 

Opener Najmul Hossain Shanto and keeper-batter Nurul Hasan are contracted for Tests and T20Is. At the same time, Mominul Haque, Taijul Islam, Zakir Hasan, Khaled Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain have been given only Test contracts. 

On the other hand, Nasum Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, Mosaddek Hossain and Hasan Mahmud will be seen only in T20Is. While veteran all-rounder Mahmudullah is contracted only for ODIs, Afif Hossain, Shoriful Islam and Mustafizur Rahman will feature in ODIs and T20Is. 

Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Mohammad Naim, Shadman Islam and Yasir Ali are no longer contracted.
