The all-new SA20 has been stunning, so much so that the international stars along with some local talent have lit up the tournament that too in its nascent stage. The atmosphere has been brilliant with the quality of cricket being top-notch as the IPL franchises have shelled top-dollar to earn the rights to those franchises.

South African superstar Lungi Ngidi who has done well enough in the international arena, has explained the impact of this league that he believes will help the Rainbow nation grow from its core.

He mentioned that the young budding talents would learn heap-loads from the experienced pros which would be a stepping stone for them to help the country to increase its pool of players in long run.

He was further quite stunned with how the crowds have supported the league coming out in numbers which is turning it into a massive success.

"The fans have also been supporting it really well, and coming out in huge numbers. In terms of cricket, I’ve already seen a few players that aren’t in international cricket yet, but have really excelled, so it is amazing for SA20 and the country.

“I think it’ll definitely broaden the pool of players we have, and that’s what you want to have as a top international team. You want to see how many people can fill a particular position if someone were, let's say, to get injured or is not selected."

Ngidi's decent spell where he claimed one wicket against Joburg Super Kings helped his side Paarl Royals to clinch their first victory by eight wickets.
