After sealing a close two-run win in the T20I series opener against Sri Lanka, India were handed a 16-run defeat by the visitors in the subsequent match. Chasing a mammoth 207, the Men in Blue managed only 190 in 20 overs, despite Axar Patel's stunning 65-run cameo.

Meanwhile, India head coach Rahul Dravid has hinted at an unchanged Indian playing XI in the series decider.

Dravid, who took the coaching baton from Ravi Shastri in 2021, also backed the young seamers, especially Arshdeep Singh, who had a forgettable day in the second match.

Here's what Dravid stated

"Nobody wants to bowl wides and no-balls in any format of the game, but especially in the T20 format of the game. The young kids will have games like this at times, and I think we all need to be patient with them. I think as they're learning, it's tough. It's not easy learning in international cricket. You have to learn on the job. I think we're going to have to have a little bit of patience with these guys,

"I don't expect there (Rajkot) to be too much of experimenting. The boys already who are playing are very young team. So we are not going to be chopping and changing people too much."
