Indian opener Ishan Kishan climbed 10 places to 23rd place among batters in the latest ICC Men's T20I Rankings.

Player of the Match in the first T20I between India and Sri Lanka, Deepak Hooda, has jumped up 40 places to 97th position among the batters. Hooda scored a quick-fire 41 off 23 in the opening T20I and it proved to be the difference maker in the end.

India's stand-in T20I skipper, Hardik Pandya also soared up nine places to 76th among bowlers. Ever-since his comeback in the Indian side, Pandya has been a key figure for the Men in Blue.

For the Asian champions, Sri Lanka, Wanindu Hasaranga moved up to fifth in the all-rounders rankings, while Chamika Karunaratne and Dasun Shanaka have gained positions in bowlers and batters, respectively.

Australian batter, Steve Smith has gone past Babar Azam in the Test rankings among batters. He has leapfrogged the Pakistan captain to capture the second position, and is behind his teammate Marnus Labuschagne by 42 rating points.

For South Africa, Kyle Verreynne has been rewarded for a fine Test series against Australia. He scored a gritty half-century in the Boxing Day Test at MCG and as a result he climbed from 60th to 48 in the batting position.
