Najam Sethi orders PCB to clear pending dues of players, employees

The newly appointed Pakistan Cricket Board chairman (PCB), Najam Sethi  has announced to pay the outstanding dues of all contracted players and PCB employees.

Domestic cricketers, Pakistan Junior League (PJL) cricketers, and PCB employees haven't been paid for months by the previous regime headed by Ramiz Raja. 

In a Twitter post, Sethi said that PCB has been ordered to immediately clear all the outstanding dues of contracted players and the employees.

Sethi took charge of the PCB affairs after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed a 14-member committee. Ramiz Raja was removed as the chairman and Sethi took over the reign.

 Former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi was appointed as the new interim chief selector and he'll lead the interim team that comprises of former players, including Abdul Razzaq, Rao Ifthikar Ahmed, and Haroon Rasheed.
