England Lions to tour Sri Lanka in January-February

England Lions will visit Sri Lanka in January-February with the hosts' 'A' side scheduled to compete against the visiting team in two unofficial Tests and three unofficial ODIs.

Leading up to the tour, the Lions' preparation will kickstart with a three-day warm-up fixture against SLC Board XI, starting on January 25.

While the two Tests will be played from January 31 and February 7 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium respectively, the ODIs are slated on the 15th, 18th and 21st of February at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.

England Lions announce squads 

Among the major highlights, England international Alex Lees is back into the red-ball fold after being dropped recently. 

Saqib Mahmood and Brydon Carse make their entry into white-ball squads after recovering from their respective injuries.

Tom Abell, Sam Cook, Matt Fisher and Tom Hartley are the four players, who have found spots in both squads.

Lions' Test squad: Tom Abell, Josh Bohannon, Jack Carson, Sam Cook, Matt Fisher, Nathan Gilchrist, Tom Haines, Haseeb Hameed, Tom Hartley, Jack Haynes, Lyndon James, Alex Lees, Liam Patterson-White, Ollie Robinson, Jamie Smith, Josh Tongue.

Lions' ODI squad: Tom Abell, Tom Banton, Jacob Bethell, Brydon Carse, Sam Cook, Jordan Cox, Mason Crane, Matt Critchley, Matt Fisher, Sam Hain, Tom Hartley, Tom Lammonby, Saqib Mahmood, Tom Prest, James Rew, Luke Wood.
