Fans and experts were in disbelief when India left out Kuldeep Yadav from their playing XI for the second Test against Bangladesh. Kuldeep bagged the man of the match award, scalping eight wickets in the first Test in Chattogram.

However, former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar believes Kuldeep will soon lead the Indian spin attack across formats.

The former all-rounder also heaped praises on the spinner for evolving as a bowler, explaining the technical aspects he has worked on recently.

Here's what Bangar stated

"I feel Kuldeep Yadav is the front-runner for the wrist-spinner slot because of the way he has performed. In my opinion, Kuldeep Yadav will be India's frontline spinner going ahead,

He has worked a lot on his bowling. He had an angular run-up earlier, he has straightened it quite a bit. His body is very nicely coming behind the ball, he has been successful in giving more revs to the ball and it is evident in the way he is bowling."

Meanwhile, Kuldeep has been included in India's squad that will clash with Sri Lanka in three ODIs starting January 10.

So, it seems he is in contention for the lead spinner's role in the ODI World Cup scheduled later this year on home soil.
