Australian pacer, Josh Hazlewood is highly impressed by fellow pacer Lance Morris and reckons that the Western Australia could make a debut in the third Test against South Africa at SCG.

The injuries sustained by Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green means that the home side will tinker with their playing XI, with the selectors even consiering picking up five specialist bowlers.

The track at SCG generally assists the spinners, but with rain forecast Australia could be tempted to include an extra pacer.

Morris has performed exceedingly well in the domestic circuit and has received backing from former cricketers, including Mitchell Johnson.

Morris nicknamed as 'wild thing' - was called in as a replacement player for the second Test match against West Indies last month. He is a like-to-like replacement for Starc and Hazlewood is impressed by Morris' speed.

"Lance obviously brings that extra pace that we probably lack with Starcy. Usually when you get that in a youngster, they spray them around a bit, but his accuracy is very good for that sort of "pace."

Hazlewood also believes that the competition between the pacers is a good headache for the selectors.

"Everyone's battling everyone at the moment. It's good to have options. We're all a little bit different."

The third and the final Test match between Australia and South Africa will commence on Wednesday.
