After a gripping first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand that ended in a draw, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced free entry for the second and final Test of the series between the two sides commencing on 2nd January.

The first match was made interesting after Babar Azam's Pakistan declared their innings with just a lead of 137 runs, hence, asking the visitors to chase the score down in just 18 overs. However, the bad light ended the match prematurely resulting in a draw.

Even after this close encounter, the stadium could not be filled, which made the PCB take this step. Similarly to the previous game, the second Test will also be played at the National Stadium in Karachi with fans required to carry their original ID cards.

Anyone with valid ID proof can get a ticket for any of the premium stands, namely, Imran Khan, Quaid, Wasim Akram and Zaheer Abbas. The First Class and General Enclosures are also open to the general public without any charge.

For the convenience of fans, the board will be running shuttles between the stadium and the Gareeb Nawaz parking area before and after the day's play.

While both these sides are already out of contention for the World Test Championship final, it would be interesting to see who claims this series.
