BCCI gives update on Rishabh Pant's health

On Friday morning, India's wicket-keeper batter, Rishabh Pant met with a car accident near Roorkee and was taken to Max Hospital in Dehradun for emergency treatment.

Now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have a released a statement and have lend their support and have provided an update on Pant's health.

As per the media statement: 

"Pant has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back.His condition remains stable, and has now been shifted to Max Hospital, where he will go MRI scans to ascertain the extend of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.

The BCCI is in constant touch with Pant's family and the Board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase," the statement read.

Pant's car collided with the railing and caught fire. As per the reports, Pant had to break the window to get out of his own vehicle.
