India might have whitewashed Bangladesh by 2-0 in the Test series, but there were a lot of questions about the overall quality displayed by KL Rahul and Co. in the field.

The batting has come under fire lately for being unable to play spinners. Apart from Shreyas Iyer, no other batter found it comfortable against the likes of Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Chasing 145 for the win, India were reduced to 71 for seven after Miraz single-handedly wrecked the famed batting order and picked up five wickets. KL Rahul scored 57 runs, while Virat Kohli managed just 45 in the entire series.

Former Indian pacer Dodda Ganesh took to Twitter to raise eyebrows over India's poor batting performances.

Here's what Ganesh tweeted

"More than celebrating this test win the men who call the shots need to scrutinise how and why India got into the hole, chasing a modest total. This win shouldn’t vindicate the men who’re at the helm of the team affairs."

With Australia touring India next year for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Indian batters will need to pull up their socks and rework their flaws if the home side plans to offer spinning tracks.
