In a remarkable turn of events, promising pacer Joshua Little has become the first-ever player from Ireland to earn an IPL contract.

As expected, the left-arm seamer attracted several franchises in the mini-auction but Gujarat Titans eventually roped him for INR 4.40 crore.

Little had a terrific T20 World Cup 2022 campaign. The Irish left-arm pacer bagged 11 wickets in seven matches at an economy of just 7.00. Moreover, he even managed to pick up a hat-trick against New Zealand in the group stage game.

Prior to the T20 World Cup, Little also served as a net bowler for Chennai Super Kings. It'll be interesting to see if the Irish bowler gets an opportunity to make his mark in the upcoming IPL.

So far, Little has played 53 T20I matches for his nation and has scalped 62 wickets at 23.75.
