The Indian Premier League 2023 mini-auction is just 48 hours away, and several known and unknown players will go under the hammer in Kochi, where the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has organized the marquee event.

Former Indian and Chennai Super Kings legend Suresh Raina has picked Ireland's Joshua Little as one of the most promising talents to watch out for on Friday. Interestingly, Raina played with Little in the recently concluded Abu Dhabi T10 League with Deccan Gladiators.

Little,23, is one of the four Ireland players up for grabs in the mini-auction, with the others being Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker, and Paul Stirling.

Speaking to Jio Cinema, Raina revealed his list of players who will be heavily contested come December 23, apart from the likes of Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, and Jaydev Unadkat.

"Watch out for Joshua Little from Ireland. He has done really well in the World Cup just now, and I just played with him. N Jagadeesan has a very good cricketing brain, and he bats so deep and is a very smart, calculative batsman. He has done really well for Tamil Nadu, watch out for him,"

Little has had a phenomenal 2022 for Ireland and sits second on the list for most T20I wickets this year with 39, including a hat-trick against New Zealand in the ICC T20 World 2022.

The left-arm pacer last week was picked up by the Multan Sultans franchise in the Pakistan Super League players' Draft.
