England Women continued their winning march in the five-match T20I series against hosts West Indies taking an unassailable 4-0 lead. However, it was all-rounder Sophie Ecclestone, who created history on Sunday night.

Ecclestone, with the wicket of Cherry Ann Fraser, claimed her 56th international scalp of 2022. With this, she recorded the most number of dismissals in a calendar year in Women's cricket, surpassing Poonam Yadav's tally of 55 scalps in 2018. In 2022, the 23-year-old has taken 34 ODI, 19 T20I and 3 Test wickets.

Since debuting in 2016, the wily spinner has established herself as a mainstay of the English bowling unit. Overall, she has claimed 190 wickets in only 124 international appearances, speaking volumes for her incredible skillset.

The fifth and final T20I between these two sides will be played on December 22.  Earlier, England has also won the One-Day International (ODI) series 3-0.
