India have relatively strengthened their position in the ongoing Test match against Bangladesh. The unlikely duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav frustrated the Bangladeshi bowlers and added unbeaten 55 runs for the 8th wicket when the lunch was called on Day 2.

Shreyas Iyer, who was given a lifeline early in the day, couldn't capitalise on the opportunity and lost his wicket for a well compiled 86. Ebadot Hossain delivered a peach of a delivery to clean him up.

Kuldeep Yadav joined the party and batted with great assurance to give valuable support to Ashwin. The run-rate was slow in the morning session as the Indian team added only 70 runs but they only lost a solitary wicket.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan tried all his permutation-combination, but nothing worked for the home side as the wicket has slowed down.

At the time of writing, India are 348 for the loss of 7 wickets. Ashwin is batting at 40 and Kuldeep is unbeaten at 21.
