Sam Hain excited for his new assignment with Brisbane Heat

Sam Hain, the Warwickshire batter, opened up on his new assignment with Brisbane Heat in the 12th edition of the Big Bash League, stating he is excited to play in front of his mom and dad.
The Hong Kong-born will train with Heat throughout the BBL season before replacing Sam Billings or Colin Munro.
Hain has decent T20 numbers, accumulating 2811 runs at an average of 36.98 and a strike rate of 131.47.
Hain, the top-run scorer for Bears in the shortest format of the game, also stated that a break is all he was looking for ahead of a long cricket season.

"I am really looking forward to having my mom and dad in the stands. They would love to see more of me at Warwickshire, but this will be the next best thing,
"I’ve had a couple of weddings, spent some time with family and friends and it’s fun to see everyone. I got away from cricket, which was nice, and I think that little break was probably what I needed after what was a long season."
Hain, who represented Queensland and Australia youth teams, including at the 2012 Under-19 World Cup, also updated on his fitness, stating he is close to full fitness and is grinding hard in nets with the Heat.
"But I’ve just started to get back into it last week following my hamstring tear. In my head I can play cricket tomorrow and, as we’re nine weeks post-injury, I’m nearly there."
"I’ve been chatting to the physios at Edgbaston and I appreciate the help and trust that they have in me. I’ve been doing everything in my power to give myself the best possible chance of being fit as it’s a massive opportunity and one I won’t take lightly."
