The second T20I of the ongoing five-match series between hosts India and Australia produced some breathtaking cricket on Sunday, with the encounter going into a super over with a series-leveling win for the home side, courtesy of Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh.

Chasing 188 to win, Mandhana had a brisk 79 off 49 but departed with India needing 40 from 21 balls. The 19-year-old Ghosh stepped in and blitzed herself to a 13-ball unbeaten 26, helping her side tie the match.

In the super over, too, Ghosh started well, hitting the first ball for a six before skying one straight to the fielder on the next delivery. Speaking ahead of the third T20I on Wednesday, Ghosh rated her knock at Dr. DY Patil Stadium as her best ever.

The dynamic batter also talked in detail about idolising former India skipper MS Dhoni, and expressed her wish to meet the World Cup-winning player soon.

Here's what she said

"I think we executed our plans well. This was my best knock. Whenever I bat, I always think about how to help my team win a game. Smriti di [Mandhana] told me to finish the game and we did it. We were just following our plans and I was trying to get as many runs in the middle [overs] so that helped us to achieve the target in the end,

"I want to meet him, but haven’t had the opportunity to meet him yet. There have been times when he would leave early or maybe we would have a camp or something the next day. But I do wish to meet him someday."
