After two enthralling performances in the T20Is against India, Tahlia McGrath's T20I batting ranking has skyrocketed as she has throned on the top of the list. After scoring 40* and 70* in the first games, the maestro allrounder has leapfrogged three spots to gain her best ranking in the ICC T20I batting rankings.

The 27-year-old has bagged the numero uno ranking after playing just 16 T20I matches for Australia, where she has scored 485 runs at an extraordinary average of 121.25 with a strike rate of 149.69.

On top of that, McGrath has also scalped 12 wickets on an economy rate of 7.13.

The Adelaide-born has gone over her countrymate Beth Mooney, who has dropped down to second place on the rankings. The third spot has been held by Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana.

Other notable changes on the ranking list are of Danielle Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley, who have been moved up to the 13th and 31st spots, respectively. Indian explosive batting sensation Richa Ghosh, after her 36* off 15 and 26* off 13, has jumped 20 spots to gain the 44th.

Talking about the T20I bowler's ranking, New Zealand's Fran Jonas and Jess Kerr have seen upshifts as they have the 14th and 23rd positions.

In the ODI ranking, Australian veteran Ellyse Perry has claimed the top allrounder's slot, which had been held by Hayley Matthews since February 2017.
