Opening batsman likely to replace Rohit Sharma in the Test squad

The ongoing series of India against Bangladesh has turned out to be a series to forget. The Men in Blue have so far lost two ODIs against the Bangla Tigers. The Indian squad has time and again failed to make their impact on the field, even with veterans Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli in tow. 

The Indian skipper had suffered a blow to his thumb while fielding during the 2nd ODI. Following which Sharma has been ruled out of the final ODI. 

Who will replace the captain?

According to reports, right-handed opening batter Abhimanyu Easwaran is most likely to replace Sharma in the India squad for Bangladesh Test series. In Rohit's absence, veteran batter KL Rahul might lead the team. 

The squad could see the inclusion of Mukesh Kumar or Umran Malik in place of Mohammad Shami. While Saurabh Kumar could replace Ravindra Jadeja.
