After a fruitful Test match against the West Indies where Australia's Marnus Labuschagne smashed a double hundred and a hundred in the two innings, the batter has seen a rise in his all-time rankings.

In the latest all-time Test batting rankings issued by the ICC, Labuschagne garnered 935 points after his recent scores of 204 and 104* which helped him better Joe Root's highest tally points.

He is now just one point behind his best of 936 which he achieved during the Pakistan Test series in March. As of now, his 935 are 2 short of Virat Kohli, 3 of Garry Sobers, Kumar Sangakkara, Clyde Walcott and Viv Richards on the all-time charts.

A good performance in the next game will see him break into the top-10 of all-time Test charts making him the fourth from Australian region to enter the prized rankings.

First on the list is legendary Sir Donald Bradman with 961 points trailed by Steve Smith with 947 and Len Hutton from England with 945.

In the current rankings, Labuschagne holds the top spot with Smith and Babar Azam at second and third position, respectively. While Smith will be eying to better his performances in the second Test, Root and Babar will surely be looking to earn some points.
