On Wednesday, hosts Bangladesh will cross swords with India in the second ODI of the ongoing three-match series on home soil. This is a must-win game for the Men in Blue, as a loss here will hand them their second consecutive ODI series defeat. 

Although Bangladesh had the last laugh in the cliffhanger in Dhaka, they must introspect their batting that made an easy target of 187 an improbable one. Mehidy Hasan Miraz played a once-in-a-lifetime knock, but he can't be their saviour every time for obvious reasons. Therefore, the Tigers would like Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah to convert their starts into match-winning scores. On the contrary, their bowlers, barring Hasan Mahmud, were spot on in the first game and will aim at replicating the same when they take the field on Wednesday. 

On the other hand, India must be disappointed, not with the defeat, but with how they bottled under pressure in the last 45 minutes of the match. They were undoubtedly underwhelming with the bat, but despite that, they had Bangladesh down on the mat, reeling at 136 for nine at one stage. While Deepak Chahar and Kuldeep Sen lacked discipline, KL Rahul and Washington Sundar were the chief culprits as fielders, dropping easy chances and letting the team down big time. Thus, moving on to this game, Rohit Sharma and co would like to evolve not only their batting on the spin-friendly Dhaka surface but also the fielding standards.
