After a hard-fought triumph against a resilient Pakistan side, English skipper Ben Stokes has a message for everyone. The Three Lions captain along with coach Brendon McCullum have been outstanding in the recent past defeating teams like New Zealand, India and South Africa, where they have played the 'Bazball' brand of cricket.

Now, Stokes who was outstanding with his captaincy moves has asserted that he and his side were not at all looking to play a draw as they have a clear ideology of going for the wins. His teammates were confident of putting the effort in the right direction which ultimately paid off.

"We wanted to come here to Pakistan and play some exciting cricket and give ourselves a best opportunity to win the Tests. I and the dressing room are not interested in playing for draws. On this kind of wicket some brave fielding changes were important to entice the batters into false strokes,"

Further, the all-rounder stated that he feels ecstatic after all their plans went in place, leading them towards an unimaginable victory.

"We predominantly wanted to go with our seam bowlers and that worked for us. Ollie Robinson and James Anderson were absolutely brilliant today. At the lunch break we were exactly where we wanted to be. We found ourselves in perfect position. It's a great place to be personally. It's incredible and I'm at loss of words about the dressing room."

England defeated Pakistan in the very last session of the first Test at Rawalpindi by 74 runs. The second of those will take place at Multan from the 9th of December.
