Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been one of the biggest draws across the globe. His fan following has been still running high despite his retirement from international cricket in 2020.

If the Chairman of T10 Sports is to be believed, the legendary wicketkeeper batter could soon be seen gracing the Abu Dhabi T10 League.

T10 Chairman Shaji Mulk informed that the organisation has approached Dhoni in regards to playing in the league, while there has been no decision, they will try their best to get the player to grace the league with his presence,

"Dhoni has a lot of influence on T10. He advised us before the ahead of the league. As he retires, we will surely try to get him, BCCI regulations allow entry of retired players into the league. Big names like Robin Uthappa will be playing next year,"

"Players like Suresh Raina have already been part of the league. Many Indian players are already part of it and many are in touch with us all we need is BCCI permission,"

The Abu Dhabi T10 recently saw new champions being crowned in their sixth edition as the Deccan Gladiators defeated the New York Strikers in the finals to clinch the title.
