Angelo Mathews, the skipper of Colombo would be keen to prove his side's worth when they take on Wanindu Hasaranga's Kandy Falcons. While the Colombo Stars won't be short of quality batters, the Falcons, on the other hand, are much more packed with skilled bowlers. In the last season, the Stars lost their eliminator match whereas Kandy could not move past the group stage.

Key Players

  • Karim Janat was imperative for his side Morrisville Samp Army where he contributed with both bat and ball smashing 163 runs and scalping 8 wickets.
  • Skipper Wanindu Hasaranga will be the key to his team's chances as his world-class skills will be on display.

Prediction

The team that possesses a stronger bowling line-up will be the favourites as in this case, it is Kandy. With Fabian Allen, Isuru Udana, Matheesha Pathirana and Hasaranga himself, the Falcons should triumph in this encounter.
