Adam Hose registers for the 2023 Pakistan Super League draft

In a significant turn of events, swashbuckling English batter Adam Hose has registered for the Pakistan Super League 2023 draft scheduled on December 18. 

In this process, Hose becomes the 29th overseas player, alongside the likes of Jason Roy, David Wiese, Carlos Brathwaite and Imran Tahir, in the Diamond category for the eighth season of the competition, slated to run from February 9 to March 19. If the batter gets picked, it will be his debut season in the lucrative league. 

Hose has a plethora of experience in the shortest format, having played 85 T20s, scoring 2253 runs at a blistering strike rate of 145.3. The dynamic right-hander was the second-best batter for the Northern Superchargers, amassing 182 runs at a fabulous strike rate of 159.64. Furthermore, he was in scintillating form in the Abu Dhabi T10 league, scoring 68 runs at a magnificent strike rate of 194.28. 

The 30-year-old is currently in the Adelaide Strikers' camp for the upcoming Big Bash League starting next week. The Strikers will play their first match against Sydney Sixers on December 14.
