Shafali Verma to lead India in the U-19 Women's T20 World Cup, squad announced

The All-India Women's Selection Committee has announced the Indian squad for the ICC U-19 T20 Women's World Cup and Indian Women's tour to South Africa. The ICC event is taking place for the first time ever in history. 


India U-19 squad announced 

The selection committee has trusted Shafali Verma to lead the U-19 squad for the historic World Cup. The maiden edition will feature 16 teams and will take place in South Africa.

The fixtures are all set to start from 14th January, with the final scheduled on 29th January 2023. India is placed in Group D, along with South Africa, UAE and Scotland. The top three teams from each group will go onto play in the Super Six round, where teams will be pooled into two groups of six.
