Pakistan continued from where they left on Day 2. The Rawalpindi pitch continued to be a batting paradise and a boring setting for the bowling side as the batters could play through the line and gather as many runs as they want.

Throughout the day, the home team sat in the driving seat as three of their top-four batters scored authoritative centuries; helping Pakistan reduced the English lead to 158 runs.

Abdullah Shafique and Iman-ul-Haq began the day by getting to their respective Test hundreds, before Will Jacks removed the former and Jack Leach made the latter hole out at long-on. In a short span, the left-arm spinner got Azhar Ali plum in front of the stumps.

With the scoreboard, it was Babar Azam's time to prove his mettle and the Pakistan skipper was accompanied by Saud Shakeel with a 123-run stand for the fourth wicket. Meanwhile, Babar got to his eighth ton in the format, surpassing Jonny Bairstow to score the most centuries this year.

However, Shakeel nicked a delivery from Ollie Robinson behind in the first over after Tea. But that allowed the Pakistan fans to watch Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan pouring their magic in the middle, yet again.

Rizwan started off aggressively by slapping four boundaries off Jacks, which gave the home team the momentum that he dragged throughout the last session of the day.

At stumps, the Men in Green are 499 for the loss of 7 wickets with Agha Salman and Zahid Mahmood still at the crease. While the Three Lions did make a comeback at the back end with four wickets. Will Jacks scalped three to help his side's cause.
