Shreyas, Shubman, Sanju move up in ODI ratings; Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma make their way down

As the India tour of New Zealand is concluded with a washout, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and Tom Latham make progress in the ICC ODI Rankings. The duo racked up a 221 match-winning partnership in the first ODI of their ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series. 

Williamson moved into the top 10 after his unbeaten 98* while Latham moved up 10 places and landed on the 18th position after his unbeaten 145*. 

Express pacer Lockie Ferguson gained five places and stands at the 32nd position. Meanwhile, Tim Southee moved to the 34th position. 


Positions rejig for Indian stars 

Indian stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli dropped below Steve Smith, who currently resides at the 6th position. Jonny Bairstow follows behind at the 7th position. 

Star batter Shreyas Iyer moved up six places and occupied the 27th position. While Shubman Gill made his way at the 34th position. Sanju Samson also climbed to the 82nd position. 


Other players who moved their positions

Afghanistan wicket-keeping batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz moved up a striking 21 places to the 48th position. Other players who moved their positions are Namibia's Gerhard Erasmus (to the 39th position), Papua New Guinea's Assad Vala (to the 43rd position) and USA's Monank Patel (to the 44th position). 

Sri Lanka's star spinner Wanindu Hasaranga gained six places and took the 27th position.
