In a significant development, promising Australian all-rounder Cameron Green has confirmed his participation in the IPL 2023 mini-auction

Speaking to cricket.com.au, Green revealed that he has registered for the auction. The 23-year-old spoke highly of the league, explaining how IPL can provide him with a fantastic learning opportunity.

Here's what Green said

"I have registered for it. It will be an exciting opportunity. Speaking to a lot of guys, especially in the Western Australia setup about their experiences in the IPL, they speak so highly of it. It is a craft that I haven't been exposed to too much. I am so open to wanting to learn as much as I can and that is probably one of the best environments to learn in."

Notably, Green grabbed a million eyeballs, smacking 118 runs at a magnificent strike rate of 214.55 in the T20I series against India just prior to the T20 World Cup.

He has proved his mettle with the ball, especially in ODIs, scalping 11 wickets, including a fifer, at a surreal economy of 5.43. Considering the ever-increasing demand for the all-rounders, he is expected to bag a million-dollar deal in the mini-auction scheduled next month.
