Women's IPL has been a talk of the town as of late. The long awaited dream is set to become a reality next year when the competition gets underway in March.

In an interview given to News18, Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur talks about the women's IPL and how it can change the face of Indian cricket and the cricketers.

Dream becomes reality

"Women's IPL is something we are looking forward to. It will be a good experience, especially for the domestic players who are not getting the chance to play at the international level. This is a great platform for them, and if they perform well, they will definitely get picked for the national side," Harmanpreet said.

She added: "They are also going to share the dressing room with overseas players, and when you play with them, your competence goes high as well. You're definitely going to learn things from them."

The women's IPL is expected to begin in the second week of March 2023, and will conclude a few days before the men's IPL kicks off.
