South Africa's first-ever global T20 league, the SA20, will commence in January next year. Fans across the globe are excited about the tournament, which involves six top-tier teams owned by the IPL franchises.

Ahead of the SA20, ace South Africa finisher David Miller has opened up on his on-field contest with England's Sam Curran

Miller will represent the Paarl Royals, while Curran will don MI Cape Town's jersey in the lucrative league. As Curran operates in death overs, his face-off with Miller will be on the cards whenever these two teams meet in the event.

As Curran was the man of the series in the recently concluded T20 World Cup, Miller expects him to give him a tough challenge in the tournament. However, the 33-year-old trusts his abilities, as he seems determined to neutralise the English speedster.

Here's what Miller said

"There are so many good bowlers but I would probably say Sam Curran has definitely had a little bit of an upper hand on me over the last couple of years. He's just got Man of the series and Man of the match in the World Cup and he's in top form. So, I'm looking forward to facing him but getting on top of him as well."

Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town will lock horns with each other in the opening encounter of the SA20 in Cape Town on January 10.
