Former Australia head coach, Justin Langer has denied reports of rift with the Australian cricketers. Langer has clearly stated that he remains in constant touch with majority of the players and 'can't wait' to catch up with them.

Langer dropped a bombshell earlier this week in a podcast, lashing out an unnamed 'coward' in the Australian team who complaint in the media regarding his intense coaching methods.

Australian media has stated that Langers' comments have ignited a feud with the team, but the former opening batter has denied all such reports.

Langer clears everything

"I spoke to Patty (Cummins) on Monday, we had a long talk about how the team was doing, how he's doing and how is family is going," Langer said in an interview with Seven Network.

He added: "And some of this rubbish is complete and utter rubbish. I've got so much resoect for Pat Cummins. I think he's a brilliant player, he's an outstanding human being. So any thoughts that there is war between Patty and I could not be further from the truth."

Langer resigned from the post of Australia's head coach in February this year, stating that he felt he had lost the support of some of the players, staff, and CA board.
