Kent head coach, Matt Walker believes conditions in Pakistan will suit Zak Crawley's style of play. He reckons Crawley will flourish and will deliver the goods for his side in the upcoming tour.

Crawley has faced loads of ups and downs in his short Test career. The right-handed batter started on a promising note, when in 2020 he smashed a brilliant 267 against Pakistan in Southampton. But since then has struggled to replicate the same form.

However, the England selectors have yet again showed faith in the 24-year-old and he has been selected in the 16-member England squad for their Test tour of Pakistan.

Pakistan will suit him: Matt Walker

"Zak has got a great winter to look forward to. I think Pakistan will suit him, the pitches will suit him. It'll be another tough tour, but he'll be better for it.

Of course you want to go out and succeed everytime you bat, but if you don't, you are constantly learning about yourself and international cricket," Walker said.

He further added: "I am hoping this winter is a successful one for him. I am sure it will be, then next season, we're looking forward to another great summer."

England's Test tour of Pakistan commences from December 1. The first Test will take place in Rawalpindi.
